Itinerary -


Day 1 – Arrival in Dimapur → Kohima

  • Arrive at Dimapur.
  • Drive to Kohima (approx. 74 km / 3 hrs).
  • Evening leisure and introduction to Naga cuisine.
  • Overnight in Kohima.

Day 2 – Kohima Sightseeing

  • Visit Kohima War Cemetery (WWII memorial).
  • Explore the Nagaland State Museum for tribal heritage.
  • Walk through Kisama Heritage Village (Hornbill Festival venue).
  • Overnight in Kohima.

Day 3 – Khonoma Green Village

  • Drive to Khonoma, India’s first green village.
  • Learn about the Angami tribe traditions and eco-conservation.
  • Trekking options in the surrounding hills.
  • Overnight in Khonoma or return to Kohima.

Day 4 – Dzükou Valley Trek

  • Early morning trek to Dzükou Valley, famous for wildflowers and panoramic views.
  • Picnic lunch in the valley.
  • Return to Kohima by evening.
  • Overnight in Kohima.

Day 5 – Kohima → Khezhakeno & Phüsachodu Villages

  • Drive to Khezhakeno, known for folklore and stone monoliths.
  • Visit Phüsachodu village for the traditional Naga lifestyle.
  • Overnight in a village homestay or Kohima.

Day 6 – Kohima → Mon (Konyak Region)

  • Drive to Mon district (long journey, approx. 8 hrs).
  • Explore Konyak tribal villages, known for warrior traditions and tattoo culture.
  • Visit Longwa village, where the Indo-Myanmar border runs through the chief’s house.
  • Overnight in Mon.

Day 7 – Return to Dimapur & Departure

  • Drive back to Dimapur (approx. 6–7 hrs).
  • Shopping for Naga shawls, handicrafts, and souvenirs.
