Gangtok/Sikkim - "The Land Of Monasteries"

Itinerary -

Day 1 – Arrival in Gangtok

• Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) Railway Station.

• Drive to Gangtok (approx. 4–5 hrs.).

• Evening leisure at MG Marg.

• Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 2 – Gangtok Local Sightseeing

• Visit Tashi View Point, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok.

• Explore Enchey Monastery and Namgyal Institute of Tibetology.

• Stroll through the Flower Exhibition Centre.

• Overnight in Gangtok.

Day 3 – Tsomgo Lake & Nathula Pass Excursion

• Drive to Tsomgo Lake (glacial lake at 12,400 ft.).

• Visit Baba Harbhajan Singh Temple.

• Excursion to Nathula Pass (Indo-China border, subject to permit availability).

• Return to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

  
  

Day 4 – Gangtok → Lachung

• Scenic drive to Lachung (approx. 6 hrs.).

• En route, visit Singhik View Point and waterfalls.

• Overnight in Lac. hung.

Day 5 – Yumthang Valley Excursion → Gangtok

• Morning excursion to Yumthang Valley (Valley of Flowers).

• Optional visit to Zero Point (snow-clad high-altitude spot).

• Return to Gangtok by evening.

• Overnight in Gangtok.

 Day 6 – Gangtok → Pelling

• Drive to Pelling (approx. 5 hrs).

• Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and Khecheopalri Lake.

• Evening leisure with views of Kanchenjunga.

• Overnight in Pelling.

Day 7 – Pelling → Ravangla → Departure

• Visit Ravangla Buddha Park and Temi Tea Garden.

• Drive back to Bagdogra/NJP for departure.
